Sigiriya Rock Fortress is one of the most famous historical landmarks in Sri Lanka. It is an ancient rock fortress built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century on top of a massive 200-meter-high rock. Sigiriya is known for its beautiful frescoes, the Mirror Wall, the Lion’s Gate, and the stunning gardens surrounding the rock. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist destination, offering breathtaking views from the summit.
